Born on the 18th May in Tréguier (Côtes-du-Nord, now Côtes d'Armor) and deceased on 27th December 1955, he was a French politician.
Councillor for the Tréguier canton in 1901, he became Deputy for Côtes du Nord from 1906 until 1920, and Senator from 1920 until 1939. Although a noble, he sat on the republican side, maintaining clear-cut positions. He specialised in naval matters and in 1926 became president of the Military Navy Commission in the Senate. He did not stand for office again in 1939.
